A growing nonprofit that provided housing for HIV/AIDS clients was operating in a very tight funding environment and experiencing trouble maintaining well functioning fiscal systems. The company's Executive Director turned to BTQ for help. The BTQ team developed a financial infrastructure that works--a flexible and scalable accounting system that accommodated their planning and operational needs.

In addition to designing this system, BTQ manages the organization’s day-to-day financial operations, acting as their financial advisors and a key member of their executive team. BTQ’s custom-designed information system conveniently meets the organization's accounts payable, accounts receivable, and government reporting requirements.

Government Contracts Management

 

One of the largest administrators of bio-terrorism and public health funds in New York City needed help managing and tracking a large portfolio of health care contracts. The BTQ Contracts Management Team developed a custom tracking tool to improve the reporting and execution of deliverables and payments to participating subcontractors. Through BTQ's leadership the organization ensured compliance with Funder while managing a large number of independent subcontractors, allowing the organization to focus on the larger picture - the security of some of the nation's largest hospitals.
